Have you ever wondered how to fill your own cup and protect your energy as a sensitive human? Have you ever even taken a look at these parts of your life?

It’s really crucial actually to feel your own body throughout your day to notice. Let me give you a real-life example…

 The other day I felt so exhausted, and I went to an event- well, I actually kinda dragged myself there, but by the end, I was dancing with 2 girlfriends and I literally felt all of my life energy coming back to me! It was the BEST feeling!

These are the kinds of interactions I choose to call back into my life, and I am being very discerning and aware of the ones that do the opposite.

We often give away our energy to others, and as a result of the resentment, dump the responsibility of filling our energy cup on the closest people to us. In reality, it is essential for us to make sure we don’t give away our energy without a powerful energetic exchange that leaves us feeling good; if a situation arises where we don’t have a choice , there are a few things we can do to replenish our energy:


1. Close your eyes and imagine a huge beautiful bubble of any colour of your choice surrounding you. Feel yourself nestled inside the bubble, and notice how your body feels here. Take your time, breathe deeply, and notice all your sensations.

2. Spend time in nature. Really slow down your breath and look at the beautiful animals and trees.


3. Lay down for a nap with an eye mask and maybe even some calming aromas. It’s okay if you don’t fall asleep; even just those few moments of grounding and disconnecting make a huge difference.

4. Take a day away from your phone; leave it at home and just be.
